Modified Power: Gifted with a natural ability to sense syn energy emanating from others. She uses this in conjunction with her ability to absorb excess energy in the air, from her opponents attacks and from the syns around in general, and channel/focus it into a ball of energy to fire at her opponent. Her gift to sense syn energy usually allows her to sense the flow of energy from her opponent, often seeming to "predict" her opponents next move, but really just guessing.

History: Born into a wealthy Chinese immigrant family in Ontario, she grew up surrounded by a loving mother, father, and older brother. Her parents were devastated when they discovered that she was a Syn in an accident where she blew a tree to bits during a picnic. Frantic, shocked, and all of a sudden feeling as if they didn’t know their daughter anymore, her parents reached the conclusion that she should be disowned for fear of ruining their family name, especially when her father was hoping to become a government official. Abandoned at an orphanage at age 8, she found it difficult to adjust to the surroundings, her family’s betrayal, and the reality of her situation, and began falling into deep depressions due to her extreme fear of being alone. However, she was finally taken in by the Genova Institute when news of her abilities came to light in her community, and since then has vowed to ignore her abilities and become a normal, functional human being in hopes of one day returning to her family. Interestingly, due to the negligence of the orphanage, she does not have a last name (though it may as well be the work of her parents). Momo is very studious, and occasionally likes to cook and do housework. She is extremely emotional and sensitive, especially when “family” is mentioned, and yearns for acceptance. Momo attempts to be as statistically normal as possible, but considering her powers and her inability to control them, it is quite difficult. Though seemingly normal, the events that have transpired in the past have unfortunately caused her to become extremely dependent on any person she deems trustworthy. It does not mean that she cannot stand her ground when it comes to something she disagrees against, however. She tends to act happy and optimistic in the midst of company, due to her desire to not be a burden, and because in a way it helps her cope until the day she can find her place in the community.
